Deryn Murphy earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2025. During her time at law school, Deryn served as a Managing Editor on the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, and she had the opportunity to participate in the Mediation Clinic. Prior to law school, Deryn graduated with honors from Miami University with a double major in Political Science and Spanish, along with a minor in Human Capital Management and Leadership.
Deryn joined Kaman and Cusimano as a law clerk in 2023. In that role, Deryn worked with assessment recovery and litigation attorneys, gaining a broad understanding of community association law and the practical challenges faced by associations. Deryn also assisted with the College of Community Association Lawyers’ Case Law Update seminar for two consecutive years.
Deryn is now an Associate at Kaman and Cusimano practicing in general litigation and covenant enforcement.
