Tom started representing condominium and homeowners associations in 1988. Over the years, his legal career soon focused solely on representation of community associations. Tom offers clients valuable perspective and practical counsel on day-to-day issues, as well as complex legal questions including: modifying covenants and other governing documents, creating by-laws, rules, and policies, enforcing covenants, complying with federal and state laws, and offering advice on best practices. Tom serves as the Indianapolis Office Chair.

  • “The Collections Conundrum,” CAI National Law Seminar, 2011

Tom was the first attorney in Indiana to be named a Fellow of the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), a distinction held by fewer than 200 lawyers nationwide. Tom’s professional involvement include:
