As an Associate of Kaman & Cusimano, LLC, Richard Teel confidently guides associations in transactional operations matters. Richard is admitted to practice across the State of Ohio and in the Northern District Court of Ohio and is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He has been selected to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2024 to the present.
Richard has broad experience advising clients on a wide variety of legal matters and representing clients through the many stages of litigation and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the firm, Richard practiced in the areas of real estate, landlord-tenant, civil litigation, municipal law, workers’ compensation, and collections.
Richard attended Baldwin Wallace University graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Studies. While at Baldwin Wallace University, Richard served as the Student Body President. He graduated law school Cum Laude at Cleveland State University. During law school, he completed an externship with the law department of a local municipality.
As a native and enthusiast of Cleveland, Richard passionately supports our local sports teams and enjoys engaging the wide variety of amenities and experiences available in Northeast Ohio, including participating in recreational sports leagues and utilizing the Metroparks for running, biking, golfing, kayaking, and walking his dog, Levi.
