Kate’s presentation is entitled “Wouldn’t Debtors’ Prisons be More Effective? The Interplay between the FDCPA, Bankruptcy and Assessment Collections.”  Her session will focus on issues such as collecting from owners in bankruptcy, complying with the automatic bankruptcy stay, and federal laws governing the collection of delinquencies.
