We are excited to announce the addition of Attorney Scott D. Weiss and his accomplished team to Kaman and Cusimano. As Scott is the only fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers in Tennessee, he naturally fits with Kaman & Cusimano, whose practice is exclusively dedicated to the preeminent counseling, educating, information, and representing community associations to maximize UNITY in the Community!
A distinguished veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Scott served in the 4th Marine Division and the Tennessee Army National Guard, retiring as a Colonel in the Tennessee State Guard. Scott holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and obtained his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 1999.
Post-law school, Scott, alongside his father Peter, co-founded the Weiss & Weiss law firm, which later merged into Ortale Kelley. In 2009, Scott directed his focus towards representing homeowner and condominium associations across Tennessee. Scott was recently elected to the College of Community Association Lawyers Board of Governors and continues to make significant contributions to the legal community.
Scott’s professional affiliations extend to the Tennessee Bar Association, National Association of Parliamentarians, Tennessee Association of Parliamentarians, and he serves as faculty for the National Business Institute. His notable work has been featured in publications like the Tennessee Bar Journal and CAI Common Ground Magazine. Additionally, Scott has shared his expertise as a speaker in live webinars and continuing legal education presentations for the Tennessee Bar Association and National Business Institute.
With Scott at the helm alongside a skilled team, we anticipate continued growth in Tennessee.
