Lydia Chartre and Dan Miske have joined Kaman and Cusimano!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Attorneys Lydia Chartre and Daniel Miske, along with their accomplished team, to Kaman and Cusimano. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Lydia and Dan, who join us to lead operations in Wisconsin. Lydia and Dan are the only two Fellows in the College of Community Association Lawyers in Wisconsin and are a natural fit with Kaman & Cusimano, whose practice is exclusively dedicated to providing premier counseling, education, information, and representation for community associations to foster UNITY in the Community!

Lydia and Dan possess significant expertise in guiding Wisconsin community association boards of directors through a wide range of challenges, including amendments to declarations and bylaws, assessment recovery, foreclosure processes, formulation of rules, addressing voting and governance concerns, and navigating HUD and fair housing matters.

Lydia has served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Chapter of the Community Association Institute and the Finance Committee for the Wisconsin State Bar. She is also a Fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers. Lydia has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for litigation-construction, real estate law, and litigation-real estate. Additionally, she was honored by the BixTimes Milwaukee as a Notable Woman in Law.

Dan is the President Elect of the College of Community Association Lawyers and serves on the Board of Governors for the College of Community Association Lawyers, as well as the National Membership Committee Chair. Active in the Wisconsin Chapter of the Community Association Institute, Dan has previously served on the Board of Directors as President and Treasurer and as the Legal Action Committee Chair. Dan has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for real estate, commercial litigation, and community association lawyers. He has also been awarded the JD Supra Readers Choice Award for top author in real estate in 2019 and 2024 and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

With Lydia and Dan at the helm alongside a skilled team, we anticipate continued growth in Wisconsin. As we embark on this new chapter, we are excited to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients, unburdening associations of their problems, and maximizing unity in every community we serve.
